We are seeking an experienced and proactive Night Transport Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate night operations site. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant running of all night transport activities, supporting both drivers and colleagues while maintaining high operational standards.
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off - 7pm until 7am
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all night transport operations, ensuring efficient routing, on time departures, accurate documentation, and effective allocation of vehicles and resources.
- Lead, support, and guide night shift drivers and operational staff, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring smooth communication and handovers with day teams.
- Maintain full compliance with transport legislation, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance requirements, promoting a strong safety culture across the operation.
- Respond quickly to operational issues such as delays or breakdowns, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and produce clear and accurate shift reports.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of transport compliance and driver regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in transport systems, routing software, and Microsoft Office applications.
