Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Driver Night Driver to join our team on the Howdens Joinery Contract on day shift. As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Transporting goods and materials to various Howdens Joinery destinations
- Ensuring goods are loaded and secured properly
- Following all traffic laws and regulations
- Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicleInvolves nights out 1-3 per week
- Strapping Chipboard loads
- Using straps and ratchets
- Collecting Chipboard
- Physical work
Requirements
- A valid HGV license and CPC card
- At least 2 years of experience as an HGV Driver
- A good driving record
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
