Overview
The Transport Admin Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily administrative operations of the transport department. This role ensures that documentation, scheduling, compliance, and reporting tasks are carried out efficiently to support the smooth running of transport operations. The position supervises the admin team, supports transport managers, and liaises with drivers, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduling, routing, and allocation of vehicles and drivers.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, licensing, and health and safety requirements.
- Manage transport-related documentation, including vehicle inspections, driver logs, and maintenance records.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare transport performance reports, and analyze data for improvements.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and service-related issues promptly.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Support audits by maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance documentation is up to date.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control within the transport department.
