Overview
James Kemball, part of the Uniserve Group, is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 driver to join our team. In this role, you\'ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Drive and deliver containers across the UK using skeletal trailers, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations; maintain accurate records.
- Operate skeletal trailers and container handling equipment with a focus on safety and manual handling practices.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members; demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of container experience with skeletal trailers.
- Valid Class 1 C+E HGV licence and in-date DQC and Tachograph card.
- Rhides Card.
- Safety-conscious with a clean licence and strong adherence to driving regulations (Driver Hours, Tachographs, etc.).
- Good working knowledge of skeletal trailers and container handling.
- Strong understanding of safe working practices and manual handling procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
