Overview

James Kemball, part of the Uniserve Group, is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 driver to join our team. In this role, you\'ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and deliver containers across the UK using skeletal trailers, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Adhere to Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations; maintain accurate records.
  • Operate skeletal trailers and container handling equipment with a focus on safety and manual handling practices.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members; demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of container experience with skeletal trailers.
  • Valid Class 1 C+E HGV licence and in-date DQC and Tachograph card.
  • Rhides Card.
  • Safety-conscious with a clean licence and strong adherence to driving regulations (Driver Hours, Tachographs, etc.).
  • Good working knowledge of skeletal trailers and container handling.
  • Strong understanding of safe working practices and manual handling procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
