We are preparing to open our new home at Smithfield in 2026, operating alongside our existing Docklands site, and are seeking to appoint a Production Partner to support the delivery of an ambitious and varied events programme across both locations.
Our spaces host a wide range of events; our Smithfield site will be able to accommodate a busy schedule of large scale events, with dinners up to 700 guests and drinks receptions for up to 1500. Our Docklands site will continue to offer more intimate spaces for dinner up to 240 guests, whilst continuing to be available for larger scale receptions. Alongside our corporate venue hire, London Museum will also deliver an exciting programme of events, music led House Parties and regular museum lates.
Production plays a central role in shaping these experiences, and we are looking for a partner who can deliver consistently to a high standard within a unique heritage environment. The appointed partner will act as our primary production supplier, supporting both commercial venue hire and internal programming. This partnership will be central to our events operation, with the supplier offered first refusal on all production work across both sites.
We are seeking an established and highly capable production company with the ability to deliver end-to-end technical solutions. The supplier must own and maintain a comprehensive inventory of equipment and demonstrate the operational capacity to deliver at scale, while remaining responsive to a diverse and evolving programme of events. The successful partner will work closely with our internal teams, embedding collaborative ways of working and contributing to the ongoing development of our events offer.
What we’re looking for:
- Operate at varying scales, able to support events at both sites to a consistently high standard.
- Provide a complete technical solution, supported by owned and well-maintained equipment, and professional crew (either in house or freelance).
- Bring expertise and creative input, supporting clients and internal teams to realise high-quality, distinctive events.
- Operate with strong planning and delivery standards, ensuring consistency, safety and reliability.
- Work collaboratively with our team, contributing to a positive and solutions-focused working environment.
- Champion meaningful sustainable, social and inclusive practices across all areas of the business and operation.
- Ensure every event is delivered to a high standard, creating a memorable and inspiring experience for clients and guests.
