This role focuses predominantly on growing the events business across our new portfolio: V&A East Storehouse, V&A East Museum, while also driving new business for Young V&A and V&A South Kensington. This is a rare opportunity to build a new commercial events audience for our new venues, while maximising yield across the wider group. The Commercial Events team sits within the Development department and run over 160 events a year, bringing in unrestricted income of over £2.2 million a year. You will use your experience to research new markets and identify new clients for the V&A’s burgeoning events portfolio, enjoying proactive sales pitches and target orientated work.

The museum holds many of the UK's national collections and houses some of the greatest resources for the study of architecture, furniture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, painting, jewellery, glass, ceramics, book arts, Asian art and design, theatre and performance.
