Are you currently delivering Oliver McGowan training as a Co Trainer Expert, with Lived Experience of a Learning Disability, and keen to increase your hours? We are currently hiring in all locations nationwide.

We offer a blend of:

  • Work from home (online delivery of Tier 1) with face-to-face delivery locally (within 1 hour of home or more if willing) of Tier 2 programmes

UTS are lead trainers of the Oliver McGowan mandatory training, and have customers across the NHS, Private Care Companies, Emergency Services and Social Care providers who are receiving our training. We are growing our exceptional team of Experts with Lived Experience of a Learning Disability or Autism and would love to have you join us. Working at UTS you will be Fully Trained and Supported.

  • All training is fully funded
  • Ongoing support from our dedicated Employability Team

The Role will enable you to:

  • Co-deliver Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Tier 1: Online sessions delivered from home
  • Tier 2 (optional): Face-to-face sessions within around 1 hour of your home
  • Share your personal experiences in a safe, structured, and positive way
  • Help health and social care staff understand what good care and communication look like
  • Work closely with another trainer to deliver engaging and inclusive sessions
  • Support the development of accessible and engaging training materials
  • Act as a professional ambassador for people with learning disabilities

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has already trained as and is delivering Oliver McGowan Training
  • Is passionate about improving understanding and respect
  • Is keen to explore other employment opportunities within the Oliver McGowan community
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
  • Is open to learning and personal development
  • Can travel locally if choosing to deliver face-to-face sessions
