We’re now looking for a Learning Disability and Autism Support Coach to join our friendly, fast-growing team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in care environments such as hospitals, care homes, or personalised support services who is keen to move into a supportive training and development role with real impact.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting our (EWLE) Experts with Lived Experience of a learning disability or autism to deliver high-quality training.
  • Helping with diary planning, travel arrangements, expenses, and day-to-day organisation.
  • Supporting EWLE trainers to develop person-centred skills and meaningful employment plans.
  • Acting as a welcoming first point of contact for new EWLE candidates and their families or support networks.
  • Coordinating training sessions, onboarding processes, and ongoing support for new trainers.
  • Providing pastoral support and promoting wellbeing.
  • Working closely with the wider and hugely knowledgeable UTS team to deliver engaging training programmes across the UK.

About you:

  • You don’t need prior experience in this specific role — we’ll provide full training and support. What matters most is your passion and transferable experience, including:
  • 2 years + experience in care & support, with (social care, healthcare), or employment services (e.g. hospital, care home, social care, supported employment) supporting adults with learning disabilities or autism.
  • A genuine commitment to empowering people with learning disabilities and autistic people to succeed.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive, relationship-focused approach and strong team spirit.
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, and a desire to grow professionally.
