The Expert, Employment Support Coordinator sits at the heart of our Oliver Mc Gowan Mandatory Training programme, providing day-to-day coordination, scheduling and operational support for our wonderful Expert by Experience Workforce.

Our current Expert by Experience workforce is a national team of 100+ people with lived experience of a Learning Disability and/or Autism and we are proud of its continuous growth to meet the demands of our Health and Social Care customer base.

You will be joining our current team of Employment Coaches, Contract Account Managers and Business Administrators.

This position is offered as full time, on site 37.5 hours per week.

Our office is located in central St Albans You'll make sure every Oliver Mc Gowan training event has the right experts in place, keep our booking and workforce planning systems running smoothly, help welcome new experts through recruitment and onboarding, and support expert wellbeing and safeguarding.

Working closely with teams across UTS, you'll play a real part in the successful delivery of a programme that champions better care for people with a learning disability and autistic people.

You'll also help us plan ahead keeping an eye on upcoming delivery schedules, spotting where we need extra capacity, arranging cover and keeping our systems accurate and up to date.

Being comfortable with technology and data will help you monitor how things are going, produce reports, spot trends and support good decision-making.

This is a varied, hands-on role that will suit someone organised, proactive and confident with systems someone with great communication, planning and problem-solving skills who enjoys juggling priorities.

You'll be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and a range of digital tools, and you'll take pride in giving our experts, trainers and customers a genuinely outstanding experience.

Key responsibilities: Coordinate the deployment of Experts by Experience, Experts with a Learning Disability and autistic Experts across Tier 1 and Tier 2 Oliver Mc Gowan training programmes.

Make sure every training event has the right experts in place.

Keep an eye on upcoming delivery schedules each day, spotting gaps and future recruitment needs early.

Match experts to bookings thoughtfully, taking into account location, experience, availability and customer needs.

Monitor expert capacity and utilisation to support good workforce planning.

Build warm, positive working relationships with our experts, acting as their main point of contact.

Support expert engagement, retention and wellbeing.

Work with managers on recruitment priorities and future workforce needs.

Coordinate all expert bookings using Dante and other internal systems.

Keep bookings, cancellations, sickness, cover arrangements and availability accurate and up to date in real time.

Look ahead at bookings at least 4–6 weeks in advance so every session stays fully covered.

Arrange suitable cover when sickness, cancellations or last-minute changes come up.

Get in touch with experts before delivery to confirm attendance and share any final details.

Work with the Contract Administration Team on future delivery requirements.

Make sure any booking changes are shared promptly with experts, trainers, customers and colleagues.

Keep accurate records across our Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other internal systems.

Make sure expert compliance is accurate and up to date.

Produce reports in Microsoft Excel covering bookings, expert utilisation, cancellations and workforce capacity.

Review booking trends and help identify future recruitment needs.

Coordinate recruitment activity for new experts via our ATS.
