We are looking for an experienced and motivated Care Manager to lead our Extra Care Housing services, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client experiences.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage the day-to-day operation of the service, support and develop your team, drive performance, and build strong relationships with clients, families, housing partners, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the safe and effective delivery of care services within Extra Care schemes.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage care teams, including recruitment, performance management, training, and development.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, audits, and service quality monitoring.
- Drive client satisfaction through strong communication, engagement, and complaint resolution.
- Monitor service performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders and represent the organisation professionally.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' care experience, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and CQC requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
