Overview
Part time Shift Leader Extra Care role at Unique Senior Care.
Responsibilities
- Lead the allocated shift, being the responsible person for the service. Manage rotas due to unforeseen absence or other issues.
- Provide an emergency response service for all residents living within the scheme.
- Ensure carers are delivering high-quality care using a mentoring and coaching approach.
- Represent Unique Senior Care in partnership with local service providers and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a highly motivated, caring Senior Care Assistant to work at our Extra Care Development for over 55’s, based in Leamington Spa.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in leading a care team and mentoring caregivers.
- Commitment to continuous professional development within the team.
Shift and benefits
- Shift pattern: 16 hours per week. Week one: Monday and Tuesday; Week two: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Holiday Pay – Depending on hours worked, plus an extra 1 week after 10 years.
- Pension Scheme 3%.
