Unique School Solutions are supporting a warm and welcoming primary school in the S63 area of Rotherham to recruit for an experienced and enthusiastic SEND EYFS Practitioner to work within a specialist unit for children with complex needs, including medical, ASD and Developmental Delay. The mornings will be working with children aged 6-50 months, and in the afternoons you will be working within a FS1 classroom.
Due to the needs of the students in the unit, previous experience of manual handling and personal care is essential.

Essential requirements for the role:
- Previous experience working within a school (mainstream, nursery or special)
- Previous SEND experience
- Personal care and Moving & Handling experience essential
- Medical experience desirable but not essential
- Level 2 or above qualified (or equivalent)
- The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
- The ability to support on a 1:1 basis
