Role: Specialist SEMH Teaching Assistant in a primary school supporting children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher to support students with curriculum and developmental targets.

Essential Requirements For The Role

  • Previous experience working within a school (mainstream or special)
  • Primary school experience
  • Previous SEMH experience
  • Ability to build rapport with young learners
  • Ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
  • Ability to support small groups and on a 1:1 basis
