Unique School Solutions are supporting primary schools in the S65, S60 and S61 areas of Rotherham to recruit Teaching Assistants to work within the EYFS department supporting children with SEND needs.

£14.61 per hour

Start date: January 2026

The roles will be working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher supporting students with the EYFS curriculum and developmental targets. You will be supporting students with additional needs on either a 1:1 basis or in small groups. These positions are term time only.

Essential Requirements For The Role

  • Previous experience working within a school (mainstream or special) or within a day nursery
  • EYFS experience and strong curriculum knowledge
  • Minimum of Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Experience supporting children with SEND
  • The ability to build rapport with young learners
  • The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
  • The ability to support small groups and on a 1:1 basis
