Unique School Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a Primary School in the S2 area of Sheffield to appoint a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a fixed term contract until May 2026.
The role is working in Key Stage 2 and the school would consider applications from Level 1 Teaching Assistants who have relevant school experience.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an excellent Teaching Assistant who has high expectations of self and others and is passionate about enabling all learners to achieve success
- Have an excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum coupled with the ability to support learners of all abilities and learning needs
- Be committed to raising standards and developing the best education for all pupils
- Be able to use their own initiative
- Be a patient and resilient practitioner
- Have excellent communication skills to develop positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers
- Work well as part of a committed and inclusive staff team
- Have experience delivering phonics preferably within the Little Wandle scheme
