SEND Teaching Assistant Rotherham £115.00 per day Start date: ASAP Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only, 35.5 hours a week Unique School Solutions are supporting a large SEND school in Rotherham, who support students aged 5-19 with Autism (ASD) and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). Working on a 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 basis, you will support students in the classroom alongside other TA's, under the guidance of the class teacher. This job is to start ASAP, and for the right person could lead to a permanent position. About the school: * UK leading specialist school * Supports students aged 5-19 * "Good" school in all areas - Ofsted 2023 * Supportive and well organised leadership team Essential requirements for the role: * Previous experience working with children or adults with ASD and/or PDA. This needs to be within the last 2 years, and within a school/residential/social care setting * A good level of physical fitness.
