Autism (ASD) specialist Teaching Assistant Rotherham, S63 £110 per day Start date: ASAP Contract type: Temp – perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only Unique School Solutions are working with a specialist school in Rotherham who are needing Autism (ASD) specialist Teaching Assistants to work in both their primary and secondary units, supporting students with Autism (ASD) and/or Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). The role is to start ASAP and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks. About the school: * UK leading specialist school * Supports students aged 5-19 * \”Good\” school in all areas – Ofsted 2023 * Supportive and well organised leadership team Essential requirements for the role: * Previous experience working with children or adults with ASD and/or PDA. This needs to be within the last 2 years, and within a school/residential/social care setting. * A good level of physical fitness.
