£128 per day

Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement

Working hours: Monday Friday, term time only

Unique School Solutions are working with a number of schools in South Yorkshire who are needing HLTA's. There are a number of roles available working in either mainstream classes or within specialist units in schools. As well as supporting students; you will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons, monitor and assess pupil development and progress and liaise with teachers, parents and carers.

The roles are to start ASAP, and are a mixture of temporary and temp-to-perm positions.

• Mixture of mainstream primary and secondary schools, as well as SEND schools and Alternative Provisions
• Range of settings covering diverse communities
• Hours vary dependant on type of school

Essential requirements for the role:

• HLTA qualification
• Minimum grade C/4 GCSE in English and Maths
• Previous experience of working in a school
• The ability to build rapport with students
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
