We are an innovative and ambitious team, and new business is at the heart of our growth plans.
Job Description
This is a full sales cycle role with a strong outbound focus. You will find, qualify and win new care provider customers, from the first conversation through discovery and demo to signed contract. You will work closely with the marketing team, contributing to campaigns that help elevate our voice in the sector.
You will focus on showing prospects how our AI products make the biggest difference, and you will be supported by marketing, inbound leads and a part-time sales development representative.
What you will do:
- Make consistent, high-quality outbound calls every day, using our outreach tool and CQC insight to prioritise who to contact and why.

- Deliver engaging, tailored product demonstrations independently, both online and in person.
- Manage your own pipeline from first contact to close, with clear next steps and dates on every opportunity.
- Handle objections confidently, including competitor comparisons and the move from an incumbent system.
- Follow up inbound enquiries and event leads promptly and thoroughly.
- Log all activity accurately in our CRM and report on your own numbers each week.
- Represent Unique IQ at care sector events and exhibitions.
- Work closely with marketing, customer success and the leadership team to shape campaigns and feed back what you hear from the market.
How success is measured:
This is a target-based role. Success is measured on new business monthly recurring revenue, supported by clear activity and pipeline measures, including:
- Daily outbound call activity and meaningful conversations.
- Qualified opportunities created from your own outbound.
- Demos held each week.
- New customers won and new monthly recurring revenue.
Qualifications
- A proven track record in B2B new business sales, ideally selling SaaS or technology.
- Genuine enjoyment of outbound prospecting and the discipline to do it every day.
- Strong discovery and qualification skills, and the confidence to run demos and close independently.
- Excellent listening skills and a consultative, people-first approach.
- Organisation and accuracy with a CRM.
- Resilience, energy and a genuine drive to hit targets.
- Experience in or knowledge of the care sector is a real advantage, but not essential, as full product and sector training is provided.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customers and events.
Additional Information
- Hybrid working, with some days in our Redditch office.
- Full time, 37.5 hours a week, although part time will be considered for the right candidate.
- Competitive base salary plus commission.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, long service holiday award and a wellbeing day.
- Workplace pension.
- Full product and sector training, with support from marketing, customer success and leadership.
