We are currently recruiting for a Loss Prevention Manager to sit within the Belgium & Luxembourg team, based in our Antwerp office. You will be reporting into the Loss Prevention Manager for Benelux, working closely with wider business at a local, EU teams. Your role will be to maximise sales through delivering exceptional operational standards and customer service. Responsible for all initiatives and daily tasks associated with loss prevention and safety management directed by the Loss Prevention Manager to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and company assets.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Ensuring full knowledge of and exemplify LP/safety policy, procedure and standards.
- Detecting and capturing shoplifters according to company protocol.
- Monitoring potential employee theft suspicions.
- Partner with LP Manager to address concerns.
- Preparing incident reports, accident reports and investigate reports according to company guidelines.
- Assisting management in the investigation of employee policy and procedure violations.
- Communicating and supporting all initiatives surrounding shortage reduction including, but not limited to audits, inventory counts etc.
- Offering recommendations and solutions to potential loss/safety concerns.
- Ensuring complete confidentiality with regards to current and past investigations and outcomes.
- Managing special projects/events as assigned.
- Responding to alarm calls as needed and required to resolve all issues causing them.
People Management:
- Setting staff training plan based on their abilities and skills.
- Read and understanding all information from Store Support Centre, Loss Prevention and Area Managers.
- Training of store employees on LP policy and procedure and ensure compliance, safety policy and procedure, as well as ensure compliance.
- Promoting and educating the store on Loss Prevention and shortage awareness programs.
- Understanding of all store systems, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm System, EAS Barriers, Tills and ensure correct usage.
- Assisting the Store Manager and Loss Prevention Manager with all aspects of the Health & Safety within the store i.e. risk assessments, evacuations, first aid, recording accidents etc.
- Understanding how to read sales summary and line lists identifying best/worst sellers compared to company ranking.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
- Language skills – Fluent/Business language French, and English. Additional Dutch, nice to have.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in loss prevention management within a B2C working environment.
- High standards of personal presentation, conduct and behavior.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for the UNIQLO brand.
- Team player that will actively participate in team events.
- Use initiative to resolve problems.
- Actively seeks information and feedback to improve own performance & development.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
