We are currently recruiting for an E-Commerce Inventory Control Specialist to sit within the European Ecommerce team, based in our London office. Your role will be responsible for maximising business opportunity by optimisation of inventory planning across our online business, working with various internal teams such as Merchandise Planning, Site Operations, Logistics and Warehouse.
What you will be responsible for:
- Achieving a full line-up through allocation of items and maximising sales & profit, as well as achieving customer satisfaction as a global flagship store.
- Ensuring stock is managed appropriately by SKU in conjunction with the sales plan.
- Managing not only the allocation but also the opportunity to expand sales, to maximise sales by reflecting and feeding back to the business on website performance.
- Working with the warehouse and logistics teams to maximise warehouse efficiency, improving service levels and customer satisfaction.
- Creating and managing the product mix of a full line-up to suit each country's needs.
- Implementation of remaining measures (change of sales promotion, markdown, etc.) according to sales results to sell out all items.
- Developing opportunities from daily business results and revising based on customer desired products to plan for next season.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working within inventory control or other related fields.
- Experience of working with a retail e-commerce business within the apparel industry would be desired.
- Good numerical skills and understanding towards UNIQLO products.
- Advantageous to have store operations experience.
- Demonstrate active problem-solving skills to anticipate and adopt alternative ways of working.
- Proactively identifying and making recommendations to improve experience for customers.
- Self-motivated and takes initiatives.
- Able to generate new ideas through analysis to identify patterns and address key issues.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- Adapts communication styles to multi-level audiences.
- The confidence to share ideas and opinions even though they might be challenged.
