Job Description

Hours: Part-time freelance basis with flexible working hours (Possibly leading to a full-time role). Working Hours are flexible (day time, evening and weekends available)
Location: UniQ Studios, South-East London

The primary responsibility of this role as an Ecommerce/Product Photographer or Creative Photographer (depending on brief) is to lead in photographic shoots (primarily invisible mannequin clothing photography, product photography and ecommerce model fashion photography) and possibly with the post-production of photographic images.

The persons appointed should be able to work fast and efficiently while maintaining a high-quality standard, and must have good attention to detail, eye for styling, good work ethic, willingness to learn/develop, and have a strong interest/experience with photography for ecommerce. Whist there will be some creative briefs, the greater majority of work will be \”Non-Creative\” high volume based photographic work with an emphasis on working at an efficient speed whilst maintaining accuracy, and consistency.

Main tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Core duties
β€’ Review and understand client briefs and notes, as well as guidance provided by the creative director or line manager, and accurately follow accordingly.
β€’ Creative review of to determine most appropriate styling and angles for products being photographed
β€’ Clothing/Product organising and prepping
β€’ Clothing/Product Styling (to make items being photographed look neat, appealing or symmetrical where relevant
β€’ Set up and take down of studio/lighting set up
β€’ Leading and assisting on photographic shoots
β€’ Quality control checks on images
β€’ Quality Assurance and management of post production of imagery (including photography, video, 360 spins and bespoke creative media) ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained
β€’ Lead and provide creative direction for studio and location based photographic and video production shoots
β€’ Prepare references, organise and manage creative shoots
β€’ Image editing and colour check/match images with garments/products ensuring consistent colour accuracy
β€’ Maintain and organise all production assets on our servers

Other duties
β€’ Collaborate with creative director to produce marketing material including print, web and video content
β€’ Video editing and colour adjustment/grading of video content
β€’ Provide creative direction and assist with production of in-house and client Web Design, Branding and Print Design projects, and create creative content from design visuals

Job Requirements:

Essential
β€’ Previous experience working within a similar eCommerce photographic studio or creative agency
β€’ Have 2+ years experience in a similar creative production role
β€’ Exceptional Adobe Photoshop Skills
β€’ Passion for providing the highest level of customer service to new, and existing clients.
β€’ Must have exceptional attention to detail and have natural creative flair
β€’ Must be a completer finisher, diligent and very well organised
β€’ Professional demeanour with excellent written and verbal communication skills
β€’ Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure
β€’ Ability to organise and prioritise workload, multi-task using effective time management skills
β€’ Ability to change priorities quickly and accept change with a positive attitude
β€’ Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment
β€’ Experience Photographing high volumes of products per day – up to 70+

Desirables
β€’ Should have competency using Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro and After Effects would be advantage
β€’ Design, Photography or Media related academic background
β€’ Photoshop image processing and editing skills would be an advantage
