We’re hiring an experienced IT Engineer to support and maintain our IT infrastructure and end-user systems in our London office (E11 1HP). You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day IT operations, troubleshooting, hardware/software support, and improving reliability and security across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st/2nd line support to staff (onsite and remote)
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and user account issues
- Set up and manage laptops/desktops, printers, Wi‑Fi, and mobile devices
- Manage Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace users, mailboxes, permissions, and policies
- Administer user access (accounts, passwords, permissions, MFA) and follow security best practices
- Support and maintain local networks (routers, switches, firewalls) and basic VPN setups
- Install and maintain business applications, endpoint protection, and patching
- Monitor systems, perform routine maintenance, backups, and documentation
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding (device provisioning, account access, asset tracking)
- Work with vendors/ISPs and escalated issues when needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Engineer / IT Support Engineer / Systems Support
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows/macOS (and basic Linux knowledge is a plus)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi‑Fi)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (or Google Workspace) administration
- Understanding of security basics (MFA, access control, device encryption, endpoint security)
- Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities effectively
Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID) experience
- Intune / MDM and device compliance policies
- Basic server administration and backup/restore practices
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft certifications
