Purpose of the Role

The Territory Manager will provide M.E.D. Surgical customers with support in the sale and distribution of Operating Room products such as Laparoscopic, Cardiac, Vascular and Urology/Gynaecology devices to clinicians in the Midlands or Wales. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales role involving presenting, demonstrating and developing new business.
  • Work on your own initiative to identify opportunities and convert them to sales.
  • Provide clinical support to customers for Laparoscopic/Cardiovascular/Thoracic & Urology/Gynaecology instrumentation and consumable products.
  • Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.
  • Achieve sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquiries.
  • Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility.
  • Develop new business opportunities and identify new client and market potential.
  • Collect, present and interpret market and competitor information systematically.
  • Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and give ideas to improve product and company performance.
  • Implement new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility.
  • Attend relevant conferences and meetings.
  • Maintain continuous professional and personal self‑development.

Role Requirements

  • Surgical sales person with 3+ years of medical sales experience.
  • Experience of selling into operating theatres, advantage if existing relationships with Gynaecology and Urology specialities.
  • High reliance on drive and planning and excellent organisational and account management skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK.
  • Full training provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence (company car provided).
  • Clinical or medical device sales background essential.
