We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Old County store in Crumlin. This is a 40-hour permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday.
The team currently comprises a Managing Pharmacist, 2 Support Pharmacists, 1 Relief Pharmacist, 4 Technicians, and 3 Healthcare Advisors. This store has manageable items and services.

The responsibilities of the role include:
- Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
- Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
- Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
- Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
- Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
- IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.
