Overview
In this role you will steer the end-to-end supply chain for Uniphar's Emerging Markets unit, ensuring on-time, compliant and cost-efficient order fulfilment.
You will build a scalable operating model and partner with Sales, Procurement, Quality, Finance and logistics providers to remove bottlenecks and enable growth.
You will lead initiatives in visibility, delivery performance and automation to support rapid expansion.
The role combines hands-on execution with strategic design to unlock regional scale and impact.
This is a pivotal, cross-functional role shaping how we serve markets in Africa, LATAM, MEA and APAC.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end order fulfilment from PO placement to final delivery
- Improve delivery performance, backlog management and customer visibility
- Lead freight and logistics management, routing, service levels and cost control
- Oversee warehousing and inventory, including capacity, storage and accuracy
- Define and implement a scalable supply chain operating model with governance and KPIs
- Standardise processes to reduce manual work and increase throughput
- Develop a 3-year capacity, warehousing and logistics strategy for Emerging Markets
- Establish a consolidated KPI dashboard covering OTIF, backlog, inventory, warehouse utilisation and freight performance
- Introduce automation and AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making
- Build and develop the Supply Chain organisation across fulfilment, logistics, inventory and planning
- Key requirements
- 10+ years in supply chain, logistics, order fulfilment or operations leadership
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, humanitarian supply or complex international distribution
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end fulfilment across multiple markets and partners
- Strong knowledge of warehousing, inventory management, freight forwarding, temperature-controlled logistics and international trade
- Experience building scalable operating models, governance, KPIs and performance routines
- Commercially minded with balance of delivery, cost, compliance and working capital
- Analytical and problem-solving with data-driven decision abilities
