We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support the coordination of warehouse logistics and distribution activities at the Uniphar Groups’ new state-of-the-art facility located in Derbyshire. The role involves preparing shipment documentation, updating internal systems, coordinating dispatch, and supporting communication between warehouse teams, transport providers, and customers. The successful candidate will ensure accurate processing of shipments, maintain records, monitor deliveries, and help resolve logistics issues while supporting efficient and compliant supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Outcomes and Responsibilities
- To enter all necessary data on to the in-house computer system.
- To communicate with customers via telephone, e-mail.
- To organise, manage and file own paperwork.
- To file general departmental paperwork when required.
- To carry out general office duties.
- To share the responsibility for data-entry along with other members of the department.
- To complete the ‘Track and Trace’ process and update internal system.
- To carry out the despatch process including preparing documents using the Durbin in-house system.
- To raise Airway Bills and prepare all other relevant logistics paperwork.
- To prepare all labels and labelling for despatch of goods.
- To prepare all necessary paperwork for various courier, freight, and shipping services.
- To prepare invoices using the Durbin in-house system.
- To provide an excellent level of service to all internal and external customers.
- Other duties which may be reasonably required from time to time by company managers, including delegated duties during the absence of colleagues.
- Additional hours (to contractual hours) may be required to meet tight deadlines.
- Assisting internal colleagues with queries and concerns.
- To carry out the relevant GDP SOPs as instructed by the RP of the Company.
Qualifications and experience:
- Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
- Previous experience of working with ERP and TMS systems.
- Knowledge of NES/Customs Entry/Chief.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods.
- Freight experience, sea, air and road.
