The Territory Manager provides M.E.D. Surgical customers with support in the sale and distribution of Operating Room products such as Laparoscopic, Cardiac, Vascular and Urology/Gynaecology devices to clinicians in the Midlands or Wales. The role involves presenting, demonstrating and developing new business, working independently to identify opportunities and convert them to sales.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support to customers in areas of laparoscopic, cardiovascular, thoracic and urology/gynaecology instrumentation and consumable products.
  • Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.
  • Achieve sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquiries.
  • Plan and implement business strategy throughout the area of responsibility.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and determine new client and market potential.
  • Collect, present and interpret market and competitor information.
  • Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and suggest ideas to improve product and company performance in the market.
  • Implement new product launches and other corporate activities within the area of responsibility.
  • Attend relevant conferences and meetings.
  • Commit to continuous professional and personal self‑development.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Medical sales experience, preferably in operating theatre settings.
  • Experience selling into gynaecology and urology specialities is an advantage.
  • Strong drive, planning and excellent organizational and account management skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full, clean driving license (company car provided).
  • Clinical or medical device sales background is essential.
  • Full training is provided.
