Full-time, 12-month fixed term contract. An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a key role in supporting the dynamic administrative operations of the University’s Finance Office. This position offers hands-on experience at the heart of a busy professional department, perfect for developing valuable skills and making a real impact.
The role provides comprehensive administrative support to the Finance Office, including HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, coordinating training, maintaining records, and managing staff access and communications. You’ll also help organise events, update webpages and distribution lists, support with department communications, manage shared admin resources, and contribute to process improvements and project work.
About You
You will have previous administrative experience, be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and enjoy learning how to use new systems. Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep track of your own workload and deadlines is imperative. You should hold excellent communication skills as you will be the first point of contact for enquiries for Finance Office Admin.

This is subject to review and operational requirements. Whilst in the induction phase you’ll be required to work 100% in the office. Further details are available on request or at interview stage.
