The predicted salary is between 1300 - 1600 £ per month.
Provide hands-on support to the EGTL SHE team across risk assessment, inspections, assurance, environmental compliance, incident learning and SHE culture initiatives. You'll help us embed safe systems of work and strengthen EGTL's prevention first culture, aligned to the expectations with the central Management System.
Your responsibilities:
- Support risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Assist with inspections, audits and action tracking.
- Help compile incident and near-miss reports.
- Assist emergency preparedness exercises.
- Support lone/home-working arrangements and awareness.
- Support environmental compliance tasks.
- Maintain SHE data, KPIs and reporting.
- Contribute to SHE engagement activities.
What you’ll gain:
- Exposure to real site SHE operations, risk management, auditing, emergency preparedness and environmental compliance.
- Experience applying UK SHE legislation (HASWA, MHSWR, PUWER, COSHH, DSEAR) and management systems (ISO 45001/14001).
- Skills in incident learning, risk assessment, auditing, contractor management and emergency preparedness.
- Confidence engaging with technicians, engineers, contractors and senior leaders.
- Evidence for your degree placement report and a strong foundation for graduate roles.
