Your responsibilities include:

  • Gaining vital hands-on experience at our technologically advanced power stations around the UK whilst getting paid for it.
  • In years 1 and 2, gaining formal Engineering training and qualifications with an offsite training provider.
  • In years 3 and 4, gaining a HNC qualification and continuing your operations and maintenance development at one of our Power Plants in the South East.
  • Learning from highly talented and experienced Operators and Engineers.
  • Being part of a community feel with other Apprentices on the same career path.

We look for capable individuals who have a combination of academic achievements as well as an interest in operating and maintaining power plants. This apprenticeship covers a range of skillsets and disciplines including mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation, with the chosen individual specialising in one of these fields.

If you have at least five 4-9 Grades at GCSE in English, Maths, Science and Technology (or equivalents), we’d love to hear from you.
