The UK Health Team provides a full and varied service across the whole of the UK ensuring that Uniper colleagues receive the best research based health advice. Our administration team is a key part of ensuring not only legal compliance, but as an undergraduate you will be engaged in delivering engaging and interactive health promotion campaigns as well as supporting the effective implementation and daily functioning of our record management system in a system administrator capacity.
Responsibilities:
- You will be the first point of contact for service users seeking advice and support.
- You shall be responsible for day to day administrative tasks including mailbox management, clinic calendar management, support to our in-house doctor and nurse-led service.
- Your role will directly support the health team to deliver the Uniper health strategy to ensure all colleagues are provided with all appropriate and required medical and health advice and assessments in the workplace.
- You will also be supporting our health engagement lead to devise and design health promotion campaigns, using multiple media formats and delivery methods.
- You will have the opportunity to develop health system administration skills as we move our service forward into a modern digital operation.
Qualifications / Desirable:
- Ideally this opportunity would suit someone studying for a business administration or a health management degree.
- Strong IT skills are required for this role including the ability to operate the suite of Microsoft Office 365 software and support the implementation of a new cloud-based health records management system.
- Communication, compassion and a caring nature are essential in our work, so you will need to possess the ability to deal with colleagues from all areas of our business efficiently and calmly.
- A desire to make a difference to working lives is essential.
- Desirable: Experience of document writing and control.
