The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.
Responsibilities include starting, stopping, and monitoring gas and steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators, pumps, water treatment plant and heat exchangers via a DCS control system. Diagnose plant related problems and perform basic first line maintenance tasks, reporting any defects to the Shift Team Leader. Conduct operational routines and routine plant testing activities. Manage and supervise contractors. Undertake specific projects and work activities to develop skills and knowledge of the plant. Conduct all activities with the highest regard for health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Educated to BTEC ONC Level or NVQ 3 in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Ability to deliver the role whilst demonstrating flexibility, initiative and high levels of self‑motivation and enthusiasm.
- An understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and standards.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Have experience in Operating Power Plant or other similar process facility.
- Have experience from an EC&I background.
