Your responsibilities:
- Learn on the job, gaining vital hands-on experience at our technologically advanced power stations around the UK whilst getting paid for it.
- In years 1 and 2, gain formal Engineering training and qualifications with an offsite training provider.
- In years 3 and 4, gain a HNC qualification and continue your operations and maintenance development at one of our Power Plants in the South East.
- Learn from highly talented and experienced Operators and Engineers.
- Be part of a community of Apprentices on the same career path together.
We look for capable individuals who have a combination of academic achievements as well as an interest in operating and maintaining power plants. This apprenticeship covers a range of skillsets and disciplines including mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation; the chosen individual will specialise in one of these fields.
If you have at least five 4-9 Grades at GCSE in English, Maths, Science and Technology (or equivalents), we’d love to hear from you.
