As part of your key responsibilities you'll focus on:
- QMS and Process Control - Maintain quality control plans, execute process audits, and support Quality Management Systems (QMS) across production.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) - Support adherence to quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) and defence procedural standards (AQAP 2110 / DEF STANs).
- Specialised Process Quality - Perform dimensional checks, MSA studies, and quality assurance for electrification assemblies, plastic injection moulding tolerances, and structural welds.
- Problem Solving and Documentation - Facilitate internal, customer, and supplier quality investigations using 8D problem-solving, maintaining Certificates of Conformity (CofC), and compiling PPAP documentation.
- SHE and Safety Compliance - Strictly follow Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) procedures and support statutory and security compliance across all quality checks.

- Technical Standards Exposure - Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100, with exposure to defence standards (AQAP 2110, DEF STANs) or regulatory frameworks considered a strong advantage.
- Manufacturing Inputs - Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly, plastic injection moulding inspection (ISO 20457 / UL 94), or welded fabrications.
- Core Quality Toolkit - Proficiency in standard quality tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D/5-Why root-cause analysis.
