About the Job

We are looking for an immediately available HR Business Partner to lead a TUPE in of c500 people. You will be based onsite in Cowley 3 days per week, working in a fast paced and challenging environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Due Diligence and Data Management - auditing and analysing ELI to identify risks, inconsistencies, or high-cost legacy terms; map terms and conditions ensuring a clear comparison between outgoing and incoming contractual obligations; and maintain data integrity across payroll and HRIS systems to ensure Day 1 readiness for all transferring staff.
  • Legal Compliance and Consultation - lead the formal consultation process, including the election of employee representatives or working alongside recognised TUs; draft and issue all TUPE-related correspondence, including formal announcements, measures letters, and new contract documentation; and mitigate legal risk by ensuring all timelines and statutory obligations under the TUPE regulations are strictly met.
  • Stakeholder and Change Management - act as the primary HR lead for the measures process, negotiating any proposed changes to working practices; coach and advise line managers on the legalities of the transfer and how to manage Day 1 anxiety within the new teams; partner with relevant teams to ensure a seamless integration of the new headcount into existing site workflows.
  • Culture and Engagement - deliver onsite Welcome sessions and town halls across multiple shifts to build trust and mitigate us vs. them mentalities; manage the 45-to-90-day post-transfer integration, ensuring new hires feel settled; act as the key interface with the union to support essential consultation and engagement activities on-site.

About You

  • Educated to Graduate level or equivalent.
  • Significant TUPE experience.
  • Effective project management skills with proven ability to develop robust project and task plans and monitor results.
  • Experience in working and influencing in a challenging stakeholder and customer driven environment.
  • Proven success within a commercially focussed environment.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or part qualified.
  • Previous delivery within an environment of a high degree of organisational change would be an advantage.
