Fully aligned with Uniparts Sector and Growth Strategy and The Unipart Way Forward Plan, this exciting venture will scale rapidly from zero to over 200 team members within a four-month period. We are seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to support the day-to-day quality control, process compliance, and technical assurance across complex manufacturing assemblies - integrating electrification systems, injection-moulded components, and specialised welding processes. Joining at the ground level, you will execute core quality activities, inspect components, and ensure adherence to rigorous customer and defence standards in a dynamic project environment. As part of your key responsibilities youll focus on: QMS and Process Control - Maintain quality control plans, execute process audits, and support Quality Management Systems (QMS) across production and New Product Introduction (NPI) Standards Compliance - Support adherence to quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) and defence procedural standards (AQAP 2110 / DEF STANs) Specialised Process Quality - Perform dimensional checks, MSA studies, and quality assurance for electrification assemblies, plastic injection moulding tolerances, and structural welds Problem Solving and Documentation - Facilitate internal, customer, and supplier quality investigations using 8D problem-solving, maintaining Certificates of Conformity (CofC), and compiling PPAP documentation SHE and Safety Compliance - Strictly follow Safety, Health
