As an experienced Kit Cutter for UPCS, you will be instrumental in our automotive manufacturing operations, utilizing Zund machinery to prepare precise composite kits that keep our supply chain moving. You will act as a proactive collaborator within our team, taking pride in your work and contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient, and sustainable solutions for our customers.
As part of your key responsibilities you'll:
- Be responsible for the supply and control of cut kits for laminating as per the work schedule.
- Be responsible for stock control and storage of composite materials.
- Adhere to all quality standards.
- Digitise templates to provide accurate kits.
- Identify and implement efficiency gains.
- Liaise with the material buyers and ensure a clear understanding of stock is known by all relevant parties.
About You

- Composite kit cutting experience OR a similar role.
- Experience with Zund and Blackman and White Kit Cutting machines.
- Experience with draft sight desirable.
- Experience of handling composites materials, its out life and its correct handling.
- Ability to work independently, to be self-driven and able to set and monitor own goals.
- Competent use of Microsoft suite.
