You’ll have an important part to play, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and sitting at the heart of our financial operations across key growth areas. As we expand and diversify beyond our internal combustion engine portfolio into exciting new sectors, you will be instrumental in ensuring robust financial controls are implemented and maintained.

As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will drive plant productivity and profitability while leading and managing the site finance team, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring the financial engine of the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide divisional leadership with weekly financial updates and ensure plant management receives accurate, timely KPIs, holding them accountable for operational performance
- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support commercial activities with accurate sales and margin data, interrogate costings, and assist in pricing strategies
- Develop and maintain product costing and inventory valuations, including annual standard cost updates
- Create costings for new growth products and implement them in the ERP system
- Proactively identify and evaluate cost-saving, profit-enhancing, and process improvement opportunities
- Maintain monthly cash flow forecasts and support group treasury with additional analysis
- Manage site Opex and Capex projects, ensuring robust investment appraisals and post-project reviews
- Lead and develop AP & AR Finance staff, ensuring motivation, training, and performance standards are met
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a relevant finance or accounting degree
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Strong financial reporting expertise and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to communicate and build relationships across all levels
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability
- Extensive experience as a Finance Business Partner in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of VAT, Corporation Tax, RDEC, and UK GAAP
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (IFS desirable)
