Health, Safety, Wellbeing & Sustainability (SHW) Manager
Location: Broughton (CH4 0DR)
Hours: Full time
Salary: £56,042.80 per annum plus 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), car allowance, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits including cycle to work scheme
About the role: As SHW Manager you'll lead the way in embedding a robust Safety, Health, Wellbeing and Sustainability culture across the business, ensuring our systems, policies and people meet the highest standards.
As part of your key responsibilities, you'll: Establish and maintain a robust system for reporting and monitoring SHW across the business Be the lead in all related policies, strategies and training to increase awareness and compliance Ensure that all related systems meet or exceed both Unipart and industry standards Manage a team to ensure compliance, competence and currency across SHW matters Maintain all critical SHW documentation as required
About you: We'd love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you'd be able to perform well in this role! Experience in managing a team in a high volume warehousing or logistics environment Full, clean driving licence would be advantageous Good IT literacy across Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites NEBOSH Certified Experience in implementing an effective HS&W management system Experience in conducting site audits and inspections
