Salary: £56,042.80 per annum plus 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), car allowance, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits including cycle to work scheme.
About the role: As SHW Manager you'll lead the way in embedding a robust Safety, Health, Wellbeing and Sustainability culture across the business, ensuring our systems, policies and people meet the highest standards.
As part of your key responsibilities, you'll:
- Establish and maintain a robust system for reporting and monitoring SHW across the business.
- Be the lead in all related policies, strategies and training to increase awareness and compliance.
- Ensure that all related systems meet or exceed both Unipart and industry standards.
- Manage a team to ensure compliance, competence and currency across SHW matters.
- Maintain all critical SHW documentation as required.
About you: We'd love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you'd be able to perform well in this role!
- Experience in managing a team in a high volume warehousing or logistics environment.
- Full, clean driving licence would be advantageous.
- Good IT literacy across Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites.
- NEBOSH Certified.
- Experience in implementing an effective HS&W management system.
- Experience in conducting site audits and inspections.
