We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Forecast Analyst to work at our Doncaster site.
Main Purpose of the Role
- Support Unipart Rail Business areas or external clients as directed by the Team Leader.
- Provide specialist forecasting resource to ensure the timely and accurate review of forecast exceptions and setting of inventory levels in UR Business area SAP or Customer ERP systems.
Spread Of Skills & Analysis Required
- An understanding of forecasting and inventory management concepts within both Buy-to-Sell and Manufacturing.
- Planning is a key skill for success in this role.
- Ability to analyse large portions of data and present ideas clearly and confidently to stakeholders.
Experience & Proven Ability Required
- Experience of SAP MRP processes.
- Knowledge of inventory forecasting principles and application.
- SAP Procurement Process knowledge.
- Ability to communicate and confidently present at various levels.
- Experience and understanding of planning with an ERP/MRP system.
- Capable in the use of MS Office Suite, or Equivalent systems.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to understand, analyse and propose solutions to process problems.
- Self-motivated.
- Experience of evaluating and correcting Forecast exceptions (RPA, Exceptions and Demand).
