Responsibilities
- Working with production teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Fulfil any duties required by the company to ensure that high-quality harnesses are produced and delivered on time and in full. This includes adhering to production schedules, meeting quality control standards, and collaborating with other teams to prevent delays in the manufacturing process.
- Assist Senior Harness Technicians and Team leader in the daily operations of the harness workshop.
- Assemble and produce complex, first time builds, prototypes and series production electrical wiring harnesses to meet production targets and schedules, ensuring all harnesses meet the required technical specifications.
- Support the manufacturing process from start to finish, contributing to the timely delivery of harness systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, stores, and quality control to ensure alignment on production priorities and resolve any issues that may arise during assembly or testing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with OEM or System 25 harnesses (motorsport/aerospace).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients.
