We are recruiting for VNA Operative roles at Unipart Logistics in Dordon, Tamworth (B78 1BF). Our client is looking for experienced VNA Operatives to support a busy, rapidly expanding site servicing more than 900 retailers and trade partners across the UK and Ireland for Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, SKODA, VW Commercial Vehicles and the Volkswagen Group\’s Trade Parts Services business.

Responsibilities

• Pick a variety of car parts – heavy and light, all shapes and sizes.
• Check, store and pack automotive goods manually or using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy.
• Work at heights, including abseiling from 12 metres within VNA training.
• Operate Llop to pick heavy parts from low locations.
• Operate counter‑balance trucks (can be cold in winter).
• Stand for long periods while operating a VNA truck or Llop.
• Prepare to work in other areas of the warehouse.
• Work as part of a team and hit picking targets on an hourly basis.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Good communication skills, able to speak, read and write basic English.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Numerical aptitude and focus on accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy and data inputting experience desirable.
• Attention to detail.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Counter‑balance/VNA licence or relevant experience.

Details

Salary: Days – £12.78. After passing VNA training – £13.34 + £2.40 shift allowance after 8 p.m.

Working hours: Fixed PM: Monday‑Wednesday 14:30‑23:00; Thursday and Friday 14:00‑22:00.

Location: Birch Coppice Business Park, Danny Morson Way, Dordon, Tamworth B78 1BF, United Kingdom.

Duration: Ongoing.
