Please note that the working pattern is 7.30am - 3.30pm

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Storeman to join our team and play a vital role in developing the inter-departmental feed of components on our production line. The ideal candidate will have experience in Storeman operations and a strong commitment to promoting best practices in stock control, processes, and picking, helping us deliver exceptional service while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Storing and retrieval of stock and associated counting / re-labelling and MRP system updates/transfers
  • Stock checking and perpetual inventory with adjustments and notification of relevant personnel
  • Space management, stock consolidation, effective use of space
  • Housekeeping activities both in the warehouses and the yard areas
  • Supplying daily required parts and raw materials for M&A departments
  • Any other items as advised by the Logistics Manager to contribute to the effective operation of the department

About You:

  • PC literate – Email (Outlook), MS Office (Excel, Word, Access), use of MRP and warehouse management systems (Javelin in this instance)
  • Previous experience of working in a production stores environment is essential
  • Current VNA and counterbalance forklift licenses are essential
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Highly motivated - able to work as part of a small team as well as the initiative to work alone when required
