About Us: At the Union of Brunel Students, our mission is simple: to positively impact every student’s time at university. We provide support, representation, opportunities and experiences that help students thrive both academically and personally. We are looking for a friendly, organised and compassionate Student Support Administrator to join our Advice Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors.
- Provide an inclusive reception service.
- Respond to enquiries across multiple channels.
- Support students through information, guidance and signposting.
- Maintain confidential records.
- Support the Advice Service, Hardship Fund and Student Voice activities.
About You: You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a commitment to customer service, experience using Microsoft Office, and a genuine interest in supporting students.
Benefits: We offer a generous benefits package to reward our staff’s hard work and commitment, including:
- Generous holiday allowance – 25 days a year plus bank holidays (pro‑rated for part‑time employees).
- Additional days are usually given at Easter and Christmas in line with the University closure dates (usually about 5 additional days a year).
- Long service – two additional days leave will be given after five years of continuous service.
- On‑site parking – Parking on campus at a low-cost rate.
- Flexible working – The Union adopts a flexible working environment.
