This role is a part-time opportunity working 20 hours a week, ideally over 4 days between the hours of 9:30am – 4:30pm.

Salary: £29,215 including £2,508 London Weighting. For 20 hours per week, the salary is £15,791.89.

The Union of Brunel Students has a small but impactful staff team dedicated to serving the needs and interests of our members. What’s the job? The Societies Coordinator plays a key role in enabling students to shape their university experience through active participation in student-led societies and cultural activity at the Union of Brunel Students. You will support and champion over 100 societies, helping them to deliver safe, inclusive and engaging activities. You will foster a vibrant extracurricular environment where students can build community, develop leadership skills and celebrate their identities. In line with Union values, you will actively listen to student needs, remove barriers to participation and create opportunities for all students to thrive.

  • Generous holiday allowance - 25 days a year plus bank holidays (This will be pro rata'd for part-time employees). Additional days are usually given at Easter and Christmas in line with the University closure dates (usually about 5 additional days a year).
