As our Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of shaping how Union tells its story - crafting compelling content across digital and traditional platforms, turning data into actionable insights, and ensuring every student feels informed and engaged. From amplifying student-led initiatives to celebrating diversity through EDI events, you'll bring strategic campaigns to life while measuring what truly resonates with our community. What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting Students Union departments to create engaging, relevant and targeted communication (posters, flyers, blogs & news articles) to support the delivery of organisational objectives.
- Developing communications plans to support the delivery of Union London objectives.
- Coordinating the production and distribution of targeted email newsletters, developing content ideas, editing copy and reporting on statistics.
- Capturing exciting & engaging picture/video content from our activities, events and campaigns.
- Demonstrating exceptional attention to detail all work and where required proofread on a variety of print and digital communications.
- Ensuring marketing materials are following brand guidelines and are up to date.
- Delivering customer satisfaction research using a range of market research techniques.
Experience That Will Be Useful
- Experience in building relationships with a diverse range of personnel and stakeholders.
- Experience and understanding of customer service.
- Experience of working in a similar role in a membership organisation.
- Experience of coordinating and delivering large scale events.
