Service Sales New Business & UK Business Development Manager
Support the Service Sales teams in the UK and Ireland with administrative and reporting tasks, helping maintain accurate sales data and assist in opportunity management.
Responsibilities
- Update penetration figures with new hardware ordered, commissioned, and Extended Warranty Agreements (EWAs) purchased; report findings monthly to Service Sales Manager, Finance, and Directors.
- Maintain and update the Service Sales Dashboard with data from Navigator, the Order Entry spreadsheet, and monthly reports.
- Monitor sales of MINIPower equipment and quote for maintenance for existing contract customers.
- Report monthly on the value of new EWA orders by each Executive; update the dashboard accordingly.
- Maintain a quotation spreadsheet tracking the number and value of quotations raised by each Executive; update the dashboard each month.
- Run monthly commissioning reports from Navigator to capture hardware orders and maintenance quotations.
- Verify new EWA orders on the Order Entry spreadsheet, match them with Navigator entries, and update the dashboard.
- Generate monthly reports of third‑party quotes and update the dashboard.
- Run monthly reports of batteries and capacitors due for replacement (6 months for on‑contract customers, 12 months for off‑contract customers); create quote templates and allocate them to Service Sales Executives.
- Check quote progress to update penetration figures for equipment no longer in use.
- Report weekly to Service Sales Manager on valid generator consumable quotes and advise on major visit due dates.
- Allocate remedial work quotations from Magic Pen documents and Preventative Maintenance Reports to Service Sales Executives.
- Obtain quotations from third parties for remedial work and coordinate with the scheduling team on major PPM visits.
- Update Navigator with replaced batteries and capacitors from Field Service Reports.
- Create and allocate EWA agreements and new EWA quotations for UPS, generators, and emergency lighting systems.
- Raise cost sheets, order acknowledgements, and invoices for New EWAs; maintain documents in Navigator.
- Create and amend Service Plan Agreements and renewals; return signed documents and update EWA agreements on Navigator.
- Place purchase orders on subcontractors for maintenance contracts.
- Monitor the Service Sales inbox, forward items, and allocate or create quotation templates as required.
- Provide holiday cover by processing orders or reallocating quotes.
- Conduct accurate KCM reviews in line with time‑bound guidelines.
- Regularly check the EWA Issues spreadsheet for insights and improvements.
- Act as a Navigator Champion, discussing ongoing improvements within the department and with other Champions.
