Location: Amy Road, Oxted, RH8 0PX

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

Hours: 5-day 41.25 hours, and 4-day working options

Reports to: Nursery Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the nursery room and contribute to the delivery of high-quality early years education in line with Birth to 5 Matters and the EYFS.
  • Inspire and guide the team to create a positive and engaging learning environment for children.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality to ensure a secure environment for all.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Passion and expertise: A deep understanding of child development, Birth to 5 Matters, and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Lead by example: Ability to motivate and support your team.
  • Qualifications: A Level 2 qualification in Childcare and either actively working towards a Level 3 or already holding a Level 3 qualification.
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to engage with children, parents, and your team, providing clear and constructive feedback.
  • Commitment to safety: Strong focus on safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality.
